You set your own prices, and Homakes takes a Platform Charge of [X]% on each completed order. Nothing is deducted on an order that does not go through, so Homakes earns only when you do.

Help getting started

A real person walks you through registration, step by step. You will not be left to work it out on your own.

Keep these ready and you can be set up quickly:

• Your Aadhaar and PAN, in your own name
• Your bank account number and IFSC code, in the same name as your PAN
• Your FSSAI registration, if you are selling food
• A phone with the Partner App installed

Share the link on WhatsApp, on Instagram, anywhere you like. Customers who love what you make can come straight back to it instead of searching again.

Your storefront can also carry a verified badge, showing customers that Homakes has checked who you are. It is the quiet signal that turns a first-time visitor into a first order.

Help finding suppliers

Finding a supplier you can rely on is often the hardest part of starting. Homakes can point you to vendors for raw materials, ingredients, packaging, labels and anything else you need to make and send your products - so you are not hunting through the market on your own.

Homakes takes no commission on anything you buy, and you are always free to use your own suppliers instead.

Tools to sell more

You are not waiting to be noticed. The Partner App gives you the same kind of marketing tools a big brand uses, built for one person running a small business from home:

• Reels - film a short video of what you make, or of yourself making it. People buy from a maker they have seen.
• Banners - put whatever is new or special at the top of your shop, so customers see it the moment they open it.
• Coupons - your own discount codes, for everyone or for a single product.
• Flash sales - a short price drop with a clock on it, to clear a batch or bring in first-time customers.
• Campaigns - a bigger push across your whole shop or one item, with a notification sent straight to customers' phones.
• Advertisements - when you want to go further, a placement that puts your products in front of many more customers in the app.

Homakes markets the platform too, and your products can appear in seasonal collections and on Homakes' own social media.

Licences and tax made simple

Licences and tax put a lot of people off before they start. They should not- most of it is simpler than it sounds, and we will guide you through exactly what applies to you:

• Whether you need an FSSAI registration, and how to get one
• Whether GST applies to you at all - for many home sellers it does not
• What needs to be printed on your product label

Ask us anything, however small it seems. Your licences stay in your own name, so the business is genuinely yours.
